Current Korean Bride Tradition

In the past, classic Korean bride ceremonies were much more sophisticated and involved a lot of time. The meeting is a special occasion where a few pays respect to their parents and ancestors. They even seek riches for their potential together. Now, however, contemporary Korean celebrations have been simplified so that visitors can continue their korean cupid com lives seamlessly after the celebration. While still retaining the essence of valuable festivals, current newlyweds have also added their personal touches.

In modern weddings, the bride and groom wear hanbok ( traditional Korean clothes ) instead of white dresses and suits or tuxedos. The wife usually wears a glowingly coloured hanbok with much flowing skirts and males wear a black violet or reddish hanbok with shed jeans.

A key aspect of the meeting is a goose(kireogi) which represents devotion and devotion. It is traditionally a life bean goose but today it is more often a wooden one. The bird is passed around from guest to host and bowed to. It is a metaphoric sign as ducks are known for their longer existence and fidelity to their colleagues.

Another crucial time is paebaek. This is a ceremony in which the bride and groom pay respect to their households by offering them teas. They also offer jujubes and chestnut which symbolize sons and daughters. The number of visitors can be very big for this ceremony and in the recent it was only the vicar’s relatives who participated but now the bride’s kids are frequently invited too.
